| Performance Tour This two hour tour is our most popular for riders looking for a fast and adventurous high mountain activity. You don’t have to be an experienced snowmobiler to book this ride, but it’s a favorite with many locals who come often to ride with White Mountain, the highest riding tour operator in the area. Our friendly experienced guides will give you a safety briefing, show you all the features of your Polaris machine including a tall windshield and built in hand warmers, and then you’ll follow up the trail to a free-time practice area where you can open it up and get more confident of your ability. After that, it’s off you go, riding out into the mountains with a small group of single riders and your guide. This tour crosses over the Continental Divide at about 12,000 feet and includes a brief stop for a steaming cup of hot chocolate. The Performance Tour is restricted to single riders, no doubles, no children. Perhaps you’ll return to experience one of our more extreme High Adventure Tours on another day Price is $125 each single rider. Family Tour Our Two Hour Guided Tours are perfect for families with children, couples who want to ride together on the same snowmobile, and single riders looking for a scenic adventure. Experience is not required. Our Polaris Grand Touring snowmobiles have a long seat and backrest for the passenger, high windshield, hand and feet warmers built in, and plenty of power. This is not your typical tour. Our informative guides take guests up through the forest, stopping at high mountain meadows for plenty of free riding time. A short hot chocolate stop is included on all tours. Bring your camera and take advantage of many photo opportunities with spectacular views of 14,000 foot mountain peaks. All rides cross the Continental Divide. This tour is not recommended for children under four years of age. Price is $105 each single rider, $55 per passenger, children 4-6 are FREE. Snowsuits, insulated boots and helmets are complimentary, but feel free to wear your own ski attire. Bring your goggles please. White Mountain Tours is the highest riding tour outfit in the area. Group Tour The experienced staff at White Mountain Tours can host your group for the ride of a lifetime. We work with corporate event planners, families, wedding groups, or anyone thinking of a high mountain adventure. We can help plan your “Special Event”. White Mountain Tours can accommodate groups of any size and will provide transportation from anywhere in the local area. Complimentary snowsuits, insulated boots and helmets are provided. With adequate prior notice, we can schedule two and three hour tours with a box lunch which will include sandwich on home baked bread, chips, fruit and desert.
